Anjali Conducts Electricity & Electronics Workshop for Middle School Girls At The Washtenaw Community College as part of MCWT 2024 Annual Girls GET-IT Event.
In April 2024, LIME Lab partnered with the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT), in their annual Girls GET-IT Day. This event brought together over 500 middle school girls from various Detroit-area schools to the Wayne County Community College District, Ted Scott Campus.
Anjali Sharma from LIME Lab conducted back-to-back 30-minute workshops from 8:30 am to 1 pm, for
Girls in grades 4 through 8, introducing each school-group to fundamental concepts in electricity and electronics.
“I was exhausted by the end of the sessions – but it was a lot of fun seeing so many faces lit up with excitement at the hands-on activities I had designed for them.” – Anjali.
