2018, July 16th-20th: Five-day Circuits and Coding Camp for Middle and High School Girls @ Detroit Public Library, Redford Branch, Detroit.
Over five intense days, girls learned to build and code with the Arduino micro-controller; a variety of sensors; and devices such as LEDs, buzzers and motors. One of the intended goals of this camp was to provide our students with a deep understanding of how technology drives our built environment. Everyone had a great time doing LIME!
Our program generated so much interest that adults approached the library to get a similar program offered for them!
