In this one day workshop offered in the Michigan Science Center in Detroit, middle and high school girls learnt how to assemble an obstacle avoiding car and get an in depth understanding of the main components. They then learnt how to program the computer (Arduino) that controls the car.
In this workshop we cover: – The hardware and software in autonomous vehicles – An understanding of how driver less cars work, Assemble the car – Program the Arduino controller – Test out our obstacle avoiding car.
